The colors of the logo come from the Pan-African flag and the association's motto (every tree grows from its own roots). Red represents the blood shed by our ancestors in the fight against oppression. Black symbolizes our skin color and the color of creation, the origin and return point of all things. Green refers to the natural abundance of the continent and its coming renaissance. The circular shape represents the planet with Africa at its center and the sun at its zenith. The roots symbolize the Return to the Sources and the quest for knowledge. White, used in our initiatory rites, represents knowledge spreading from the roots across Africa.
